This week is National Bike Week (5-11 June). This year marks the 100th annual bike week – dubbed Bike Week 100 – providing the ideal opportunity to get involved, even if it’s your first time doing so.

This week marks World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2023 (28 April), the key aim of which is to raise awareness of workplace safety and health issues, and promote international cooperation and collaboration.

TJ has maintained their FORS Silver accreditation for the sixth consecutive year, confirming their status as one of the leading SME transport companies in the southern region.

We offer Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) driver training courses to our drivers in-house to ensure they are able to maintain their CPC qualification with ease and without the need to go to an external training provider.

TJ’s seventh annual health and safety inductions have proved a resounding success! We’re pleased to report a 100% completion rate, meaning that each and every member of staff completed the training within the required timescales.

We’re celebrating the end of another great year by spreading some festive cheer amongst our staff and the local community! We’re showing our gratitude to our valued employees by giving each team member a luxury food hamper to enjoy.

TJ is preparing for their seventh annual health and safety staff induction event, which will take place throughout January. The training will be delivered virtually – as it has for the past two years due to the pandemic – as this method has proved extremely successful and is favoured by staff.

This week is National Road Safety Week (14-20 November). As a FORS Silver Status transport company, we’re 100% committed to road safety.

The 27th session of the Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC – COP 27 – is taking place right now in Egypt. The conference, which is taking place from 6-18 November in Sharm El Sheik, has seen countries come together to tackle the global challenge of climate change.

TJ staff worked together to host their own World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on 30 September in aid of Macmillan, raising over £175 for this fantastic cause!
