TJ launches new websites!

This week has seen the launch of our fantastic new websites, which combine attractive design with exceptional usability and a host of new features to make accessing TJ’s products and services quick and easy for our customers.

There are three new sites; for TJ Group – the strategic arm of the two companies –  TJ Transport and TJ Waste. Up until now we’d had one website for our entire operation, but separating the brands will make it far easier for our customers and stakeholders to access the information more relevant to them quicker than ever.

The websites are simple and attractive, with a clear drop down menu right at the top to access our primary services immediately, and another menu at the top right which allows quick access to all other information. There are sections on our products and services, our quarries, the sectors and locations we operate in, company information, careers, latest updates and contact info.

The sites also now have more in-depth content to allow users to find more of the information they’re looking for quickly and easily and all in one place. If you’re searching through the news or blogs articles, you can now do so by filtering the tags which should make it quicker to pinpoint relevant content.

You can now purchase our range of aggregates online as well as book our skip hire and grab hire services in an instant. All the skip prices are now displayed on the site so you know the price immediately, making it easier when gathering information prior to purchase.

Our skips are now booked through a cart and checkout system which is quick and easy to use. You simply select the skip you want and input your postcode; this generates an accurate, personalised, location-based price. It’s then just one simple step to complete your details, collection/delivery choices and payment information.

Thanks to our collection of over 2,000 skips and our fleet of modern skip lorries, we can often offer delivery as quick as the next working day. Skips can be hired for up to 14 days, or if you opt to return it within 4 days (at point of booking), you’ll receive a 5% discount.

We now also offer the option to book priority or urgent delivery for an additional charge. Standard delivery means your skip will arrive anytime between 7am and 6pm on your chosen date, priority delivery means it is guaranteed to arrive between 7am and 3pm and urgent delivery guarantees it to be delivered by 11am. 

If you really need the skip to be onsite, ready to receive waste at the start of a particular date, we strongly suggest ordering delivery for the day before to alleviate any stress and to save the additional cost.
